Your Computer Screen TFT or LCD is an expensive component which require a bit of special care when cleaning your notebook or desktop computer. The computer screen displays are sensitive and can get easily scratched or damaged. It is important to clean a computer screen properly for enhanced visual display. Follow the steps below to safely and properly clean your computer screen monitor or LCDs.
1. To clean your computer screen first turn off the monitor or completely shut down the computer to easily identify the dirt in the computer monitor.
2. Avoid using tissue papers, toilet rolls or your shirt sleeves to the computer screen. They can easily scratch the display. Avoid using tap water or mineral water as they could leave white marks on the screen because of dissolved salts. Also avoid cleaning products that contain ammonia, ethyl alcohol, acetone, toluene, ethyl acid, or methyl chloride. These chemicals can react with the materials and cause damage to the computer screen.
3. Avoid spray liquid directly on your computer LED, LCD, or plasma screen. It could cause damage to the screen.
4. Gently wipe the computer screen but even after that if it did not completely remove the dirt then never put pressure to remove it as it may damage the screen.
5. You could also buy an LCD cleaning kits for safer options. Wipe in a circular motion while avoiding too much pressure on the screen.
